My story

I came into this world singing—and I haven’t stopped yet.

I earned two degrees in vocal performance and spent more than 20 years singing professionally in operas and choirs. I have also spent much of my life teaching, from kindergarten through college, helping students discover the courage, connection, and joy that come from finding their own voices. For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by the ways our voices can connect us to ourselves and to something greater.

In 2016, my life changed forever when my husband passed away suddenly. I was left with a broken heart, a beautiful four-month-old baby, and a life I no longer recognized. I knew I had to be present for my daughter, but I also knew I needed to find a way through the pain.

I turned to yoga as a way back to presence.

I had been a student of yoga since 2000, but after my husband's death, I dove deeply into the practice. Yoga gave me a way to step out of my head and back into my life. During my first teacher training, I learned many beautiful things, but one of the most profound lessons was learning how to close my eyes again in public. Trauma had taken away my sense of safety, and slowly, through practice and community, I began to remember that I was safe in my own skin.

I also discovered that healing does not have to happen alone.

Over the past ten years, I have continued to study, heal, and explore the many paths that have helped me reconnect with myself. I completed my 200-hour Vinyasa Flow teacher training with Sundance Yoga and my 300-hour training through Yoga Farm Ithaca, studying Kundalini Yoga, Meditation, Laya Yoga, Lunar Cycles, and the Enneagram. I have continued my studies in Soul Retrieval, Yoga Nidra, Kundalini Rebirthing, manifestation, and sound healing.

But somewhere along the way, my healing journey became something more.

In 2019, I was introduced to Kundalini Yoga, and it opened an entirely new world of spirituality and connection for me. Then, during a Kundalini meditation in my own home, I experienced something I will never forget.

It felt as though a veil of darkness had lifted from my heart.

For the first time since my husband's passing, I could feel the light and love that still lived inside me. I felt something I can only describe as my Heart Light being restored.

That moment became a turning point in my life.

I realized that I wanted to help other people find their way through their own darkness—not by pretending the difficult things hadn't happened, but by learning that there can still be light, love, connection, and meaning on the other side of them.

As I continued to heal, study, listen, and open myself to new spiritual practices, I began to recognize something else: I am an intuitive channel. I discovered a deep intuitive and empathic ability to listen beyond what is immediately visible and to help others connect with their own inner knowing. I studied Psychic Mediumship through Divine Training by my own master teachers on the other side of the veil. It wasn’t something I was searching for. They found me through a heart-centered cracking open to become who I was meant to be.

Today, I bring all of these pieces of myself into my work: my voice, my years as a teacher, my experience with grief and loss, my spiritual practice, my intuition, and my deep belief in the healing power of connection.

I don't believe healing is about becoming someone different. I believe it is about finding your way back to the person you have always been underneath the fear, the grief, the stories, and the things life has asked you to carry.

That is the heart of what I do.

I have since closed my former studio and now offer my work through a more intimate private practice from my home, where I work one-on-one with people seeking deeper connection, intuitive guidance, healing, and a way back to themselves. I also continue to teach in community yoga studios, because I believe deeply in the power of gathering, practicing, and healing together.

My private practice gives me the space to meet each person exactly where they are. There is no one-size-fits-all path here. My work is intuitive and deeply personal, shaped by what you are moving through and what you are ready to explore.

If something in you is calling for deeper healing, greater clarity, or simply a place to listen to what your heart has been trying to tell you, I invite you to work with me privately.

You don't have to know exactly what you're looking for. You don't have to have it all figured out. You simply have to be willing to listen.

Sometimes the light isn't gone.

Sometimes we just need a little help finding our way back to it.

May all beings be peaceful.
May all beings be happy.
May all beings be safe.
May all beings awaken to the light of their true nature.
May all beings be free.
